We bought this couch knowing it was going to be replaced eventually, we were hoping for a year out of it as our first born was just 6 months old when we bought it, and our Westie hates having his nails clipped. From other reviews we didnt have high hopes but this was reasonable we thought.

No scratches, comfortable to sit in, low enough for the kid to climb up and down, but high enough to store a fold up table under it.
The storage foot stool is a DREAM!! The hinges are holding solid and the slow movement means little fingers arent crushed on the millionth open/close of the day. Best toy chest for small apartments that go from Kid Mode to Adult Mode in the evenings!
The guest bed arrangement is actually not uncomfortable, and the seam is less noticeable than some pull out sofa sleepers on the market as long as youre about 6 foot. (Baby either mom or dad fit perfectly on those bad nights)
Great for a short term (3 years of HARD use) couch you wont mind having in your tiny living room!
