I got this recliner in preparation for a large abdominal surgery. It has been worth every penny!! I am not allowed to lie flat after surgery and was instructed to sleep either in a recliner or in that position. In the hospital, getting in and out of bed was excruciatingly painful but now that I am home, this has made it painless! It has really helped me get up and down without straining my abdominal wall. Its also really comfortable and looks nice too! I wish the heat setting worked separately from the massage but thats the only complaint I have so far.
