Im pleased with the overall appearance. 2 caveats: 1) one of the nuts in the hardware kit was machined poorly and couldnt be turned using the included wrench. Fortunately I had a socket wrench with the right size attachment and that gave enough leverage to turn the nut. 2) when the leaves are in the dropped position, you can see the exposed edges dont have a nice finish. I was able to make it look better using dark Old English scratch cover. Still, for the price it is a great little table. Its plenty sturdy enough for a home with no kids.
