1st step isn't clear on the photo and is opposite as the photo so be careful when setting up or the cross bars won't fit. Some of the parts were bent so some screws were hard to get in and I left one half way hanging out b/c I couldn't get it in any more. I scratched the hell out of the inside frame trying to get the metal slats into place b/c they didn't fit right.
I bought another bed from the same company and the other bed was much better quality with sturdier pieces.
This bed has the crappy cross bars with the slit to go into place and nothing to secure around them. The other bed I bought was better/sturdier pieces and has a rubber buffer all the way around the hole where the slats went so they don't rub or move or anything.
I got it together but wouldn't buy again.
