People may be scared by the color red, but it is not a bright red, its very muted more like a deep chocolate red. The only problem and others have stated is the styrofoam / hundreds of tiny pieces all over the piece and takes a lot of time to get it off. Use large pieces of tape / was the fastest way I could think of .
