Took a couple hours because I did it alone and made sure not a single screw was put in incorrect its for my 5 year old daughter but cant get out of moms bed we have a newborn also and 2/3 more kids in the house so with 3 bodies on a queen size I started to sleep on couch them the 20 year old moved back in on couch so guess where I sleep 275 pounds on top of the bunk bed, super sturdy little wobbly but has a 150 pound full size mattress plus me so shouldnt even hold but it does almost a month now been enjoying it
