I wanted an elegant looking chair without spending a fortune and I found it in this chair. The material is a woven linen - I chose the beige which is off-white woven with tan to give a beige look. The tufting is nice and tight. Shipment was on time and it took my partner about 25-30 min to assemble- hes super handy. He did say that the holes drilled for the screws did not line up so he had to do some finagling. Its very sturdy and attractive. The seat is very firm. Recommend.
