I was delivered right to my door in two boxes, each on of them probably 30/35lbs. Im a petite girl, and it took me less than an hour to put it together all by myself (no special tools needed). The instructions are very straight forward, except that I had one extra plank left after I finished. I do hope it doesnt matter, just in case Im keeping it under the sofa. Overall it looks good and seems to be sturdy, good choice for small places like mine, both me and my dog love it
