Directions could have been a little clearer regarding the screws but once you figure out which ones are required it is relatively easy to assemble. I put the drawers together one day and the frame the next. I bought this for the guest bedroom knowing it wouldnt be used on a daily basis so it do it my needs just fine. My only complaint is the drawers are free to move around under the bed a bit (meaning side to side not front to back) so if the dog bangs into it the drawer can push out a little and you may catch the corner of the drawer with your shine. I am speaking from experience I didnt put a box spring on it, just a thick comfortable mattress.
