My son put it together in two and a half hours with no problems. He read and followed the directions. I love it. Seems very sturdy. I got the white one. Needed more storage in my small apartment and this filled the bill. Was not the hardest piece he put togethor. When son first saw directions he said holy crap. But after separating all the pieces and putting like pieces together it was easy. He didnt need me to help, so I guess one person can do it. If you have put things together before you should be able to do this. Not sure why it took some so much time for some. Son said directions were fine. All pieces were labeled. Id buy another without hesitation.
