It fits perfect for what I wanted. It is a little top heavy, so I attached a piece of fishing line around the top of a back leg and attached it to the wall to prevent tipping over. One leg was difficult to get straight, but, I kept tightening it and it worked. Color says navy, more of a colonial dark blue. 72 year old female put it together.
