I was most concerned about assembly ease since Im a single parent with multiple severe chronic diseases that have caused a lot of hospitalizations, especially recently. I was able to set this up all on my own. It took 5 hours but a lot of that was taking it slow because of weakness and pain. I used some helping hands like boxes or small pieces on the floor, but even that hack was very minimally needed to set up on my own. I did need someone with stronger hands to finish tightening things since it didnt feel sturdy enough for my liking but it was used even before that for a few nights. Makes sharing a room with my two kids fun! Its still not the sturdiest thing ever, but.its pretty inexpensive and its enough Im sure, Im just a worry wart when it comes to my kids safety. I messed up one part a little while setting up and it was still really forgiving and an easy fix. Many items like this you have to redo the WHOLE thing to fix a mistake. Not this! Its also a very pretty blue color!
Yes, you CAN assemble this on your own!
