I saw this in a showroom of a furniture store, it was a great fit for our living room because metal studs matched our sofa. The top surface is great: classy, yet durable enough to set drinks on. However, be aware that the construction is somewhat mediocre. One or two of the holes used to bolt the thing together were a little skewed, which made assembly slightly more difficult. But for the price, its still a winner.
