We received our kit and my husband was able to put it together fairly quickly. Its a nice looking bed and fairly solid. I had purchased 2 10inch mattresses for this trundle set up. I would recommend getting the smaller mattresses. 10 inches is definitely too thick for the trundle. It will not pull out or push in with ease with that size mattress. Thankfully we do not need the bed, it is just a back up. Thought I would share what I learned in an effort to help others who may also be thinking thicker os better.
