Its a beautiful piece of furniture but not as sturdy as I was hoping. Bought for my 5 year old daughters room. She loves pulling out the trundle and I can see the board flex as she pulls it. I dont know how long this bed will realistically last. Even the headboard and sides are pretty flimsy. If only used occasionally in a spare bedroom for when guests visit then maybe but not an every day use piece of furniture.
