I received this with several pieces missing. The company required that I send pictures of the box before they would send the missing pieces. Two weeks later the missing pieces arrived. This unit had been put together before we purchased it. If shipping wasn't so expensive we probably would have sent it back. It went together easy enough. Smaller than we expected but now that it is set up we like it. It's not solid wood. In hindsight, we should have gone to the unfinished furniture store and purchased one like it since this one needs paint!
