Like with all these things the directions are not always absolutely clear and you have to interpret a few things. There were not screw holes in 2 spots there were supposed to be. We accidentally ended up breaking a little piece but thankfully it was in a spot that wasn’t visible. Inserting the shoe section was the trickiest. Overall I’m happy with the product - it looks good and will be functional. I have this for about 1 month. I will say it does have an odor to it. It’s like an over powering fake wood smell and it does tend to stink up my mud room but I’m hoping with age it decreases.
