if it is actually , its the cheapest version available, then again, its an extremely cheap version of this type of chair which we were aware of when purchasing. it went together very easily and looks just ok. its a very small chair and I wouldnt recommend it for anyone over 5 10 tall. if it lasts a few years, then weve gotten our moneys worth. if you only want the look of one of these, then this is good enough. it functions ok, but not particularly smooth. its a good enough chair for a cheap enough price. it was delivered in a timely fashion. did make one call to customer service regarding a replacement part that was damaged, rude person identified herself as Dee said they dont replace parts, send back the entire chair.box was so damaged, cant send it back in original packaging. decided to see if chair would go together anyways.will try to call again and maybe get a person who understands that the box says you can call for replacement parts
