We have been shopping at all the major furniture stores for beds. One wanted $3,500 for a bed like this, and it didn't have a footboard! I took a chance and ordered this from the picture. I'm so glad I did! My husband and I put it together in 1? hrs. Only one final slat had a problem fitting where it was supposed to go. My husband had to push his feet against the frame with all his weight to get it to fit. But it's beautiful, looks like we spent thousands on it, and seems very sturdy. One thing to know, though. As one other reviewer mentioned, this bed is not a traditional cool blue gray. It is a warm gray, almost beige. But it is very neutral, goes with just about anything. Except maybe cool gray--it would clash. We are very happy with this bed. Comes in a gigantic box! My granddaughter and I made it into a flat house for the week she was visiting from out of state!
