The first bed I received from was defective. They sent me a bed with 3 right side parts and 1 left when I needed 2 of each. Customer Service was quick to mail me my replacement. It came 2 days faster than it had said which was great. They scheduled UPS to pick up from my apartment as well to return.
assembly is very easy and straight forward. The first time it took me about an hour and a half to assemble. The second bed I received it took about 30 mins since I already knew what to do. One person can easily do this alone.
Im using a simple 8inch memory foam mattress (also purchased here on ). I have no issues with the wooden slats, and my bed makes no velcrow noises.
The color of the leather is definitely almost black. Way too dark to be considered brown but I love it either way.
I'm so pleased with the purchase even though the first one was a complete let down.
