Four stars just because the fedex guy delivered to house next door and not ours!! But this bed is so cute. Came in 6 boxes all clearly marked. We assembled the stairs first , than bottom than top bed. Took two semi handy guys about 5 hours. Just read the directions , start at #1 and you will be fine. We did organize all the pieces bu same numbers so the process was easy. The stairs are sturdy and all drawers fit perfect. There were couple of paint chips but nothing visible. So directions say no power tools but we did use them and no problem. Overall the bed is so great qnd kids are excited. Tip. We opened up the boxes in the garage and let them sit for two days so the smell of the wood/paint would air out.
