took us about an hour to put together. not hard, just a bit difficult to maneuver in the small apartment. its a beautiful couch and for the price its very comfortable. sturdy enough to have us both lay on it, very comfortable as a bed with some added pillows. excellent couch for a small studio/first time renter.
