Review summarized in two sentences...Looked nice when complete. Poor manufacture workmanship.
Paid several hundred dollars for this bed and expected better quality. Took about 8 hours to complete working with four other people.
Connecting Dowels: Found many dowels were undersized or not straight. Several dowels were at least 1/8” undersized and would fall out. Had to glue them in place. Were frustrated with the assembly.
Support cross beams: They were not all the same lengths. Many of them barely reach the opposite side.
3” support posts: They are not even one solid piece. Instead they were three separate pieces glued together. All other pieces were one solid piece of wood. Strange that these support posts were fabricated in this manner. I would think, cutting one solid 3” x 3” to the proper length would be cheaper than gluing and pressing three 1” wide pieces together.
Hardware: They were nicely labeled which came in handy. Do not lost any as there are just exactly enough to complete the assembly. No spare hardware.
A word of caution: Two of the hardware looked identical except the thread pattern. They were B7 and B16. By keeping each hardware in its own bag, I was able to tell them apart.
Poor quality - but looked nice when assembled.
