I purchased this for holiday company in a spare room. It was fairly easy to put together by myself. Im not sure of the durability due to all the plastic pieces that join the slats to the frame, even though they were quick to assemble. I would have preferred actual metal screws. However, this appeared to me to be one of the sturdier affordable frames due to the middle support legs. The mattress I purchased to accompany this was the Linenspa 8 inch memory foam/innerspring and they work just fine together. It sits high enough off the floor to be comfortable for a person to get in/out, but low enough that my dogs love to jump up on it as well! I used a twin comforter set on it rather than buying a more expensive daybed set for bedding. I would recommend this for a child or for an occasional guest, but not for heavy daily use.
