Short and sweet: this item surprised me. I thought it would look/feel on the cheaper side, but I was wrong! It feels sturdy and heavy. People always comment on how nice the piece is. I strongly recommend it. But be prepared though for your patience to be tested at assembly time. My husband was not very happy for a few hours putting it together.
