There were no cracks nor scratches. Of course, there are no pockets on the outside. However, the interior has the standard mesh pockets. I measured the suitcases, and they were exactly the size stated. The suitcases are very light. I havent used the suitcases yet, but they seem like theyll be able to do the job.
