The product was well packaged. Take photos as you unpack in case you need to re-pack for return. The assembly instructions are well presented. Assembly was difficult due to production flaws. Some holes were not predrilled as indicated. The predrilled holes for the dowel pins were too large, leaving the dowels loose and ineffective. Most of the holes for the main bolts were painted over making it difficult to get the bolt threads started. It definitely helps to have two people during assembly. Having a power drill was critical in the assembly. If the holes are not predrilled, the wood may split as the screws are tightened.
