I've been redoing my home office and chose this chair over another style from a different vendor because of the reviews.
Assembly was quick, minus getting the casters in, which was the hardest part for me, but I didn't need any special tools to get them in...just more upper body strength.
It is not as soft, seating wise, as I expected it to be, however the size is more than ample for my frame. I imagine those blessed with a bit more booty & hips would find this a tighter fit.
I don't think this is going to be comfortable to work in for 8-12 hours at a time due to the cushioning being so firm, but the back of the chair is the correct height for me and hopefully it'll soften up over time.
It was wobbly at first, but after raising and lowering the seat a few times it's now stable and swivels smoothly.
The overall look of the desk chair is pretty and will work with my aesthetic...minus a glaring stain on the seat.
Initially thought it was the velvet nap that needed to be smoothed out due to having pressure on it during shipping. It's not. It's stained with...grease, maybe? I tried to disassemble the chair but it won't come apart now, so I don't see how I can return it. My mistake for not examining it more closely before assembly.
I've put a blush sheepskin on the seat to cover the stain and add a bit more plushness to the chair.
It's still a beautiful chair, but don't be like me, examine yours carefully before you assemble it.
Beautiful but stained.
