Great couch for the price. Easy to assemble. We recent bought a mid-century home and were not able to get our large couch into the living room area. We ordered this couch a temporary fix, because at $260, we couldnt pass it up. The couch arrives in a very large box, but pieces can easily be removed and transported separately if one person is not able to lift the 112lb box alone.
I read all of the reviews about the back being so cushioned that it makes sitting on the couch uncomfortable. I dismissed these reviews because the couch had so much positive feedback. I thought, People will always find something to complain about. In hindsight, these reviews were 100% correct- when I first sat on the couch, I was a little disappointed because I felt like I was only half-sitting on it- like when you try to share one seat with another person. I came up with the solution of simply removing the back cushioning. We normally drape a decorate blanket over the couch anyway because of our pets, and with the addition of some throw pillow, it looks great and is a thond times more comfortable. NOTE: If you do this, you will absolutely want to cover the back with a blanket because there will be exposed Velcro.
Overall, I am very impressed for the price! I will keep the back cushioning and try to flatten them out a little over time.
