I was skeptical about buying a mirror online for fear that it would be broken, cracked or chipped when I received it. It was packaged so securely that it was almost impossible to break unless the UPS driver jumped up and down on it and even then, I dont think so. There ARE holes pre-drilled into the back, but they are so small that you might think they are not there. A Phillips screwdriver is all you need to screw the brackets on. 6 screws come with it - 3 for each side. I only used 2 and it worked just as well. And 2 sticky tapes came with it to secure the bottom, so the mirror wont flap when opening and closing the door. Im glad I bought this.
