I was able to assemble the bench in about 15-20 minutes by myself. It was pretty easy. The bench is very solid and looks great in my bedroom. The baskets can hold a couple of pairs of small womens shoes each and maybe one pair of mens shoes each. We use the baskets for ball caps, belts, and slippers. I am considering ordering another for downstairs.
