This table is so versatile / its listed as a sofa table but Im using it as an extra table in my craft room. It was easy to assemble / just fasten the legs on with the attached bolts and allen wrench / and its very heavy and sturdy. It comes unfinished, but as several have said, the table is so smooth, it really doesnt need painting until you want to match something in your room. I plan to leave mine unfinished for now as its very attractive just as it is. For the money, this table is real buy and I highly recommend
