I was skeptical but they really are absorbent!

I recently adopted a Basset Hound and Corgi from the south through a rescue that brought them into foster care, treated them for their maladies, had them neutered, and then we brought them up to Maine. The Corgi is definitely an older dog and leg-lifting was already ingrained before I got him. The late neutering likely reinforced the marking behavior. In order to save my furniture and keep my house from smelling gross, I opted for male belly bands for my little man. I was worried that he would pee right through the diapers so I bought these wee pads as "insurance." They work great and actually absorb a lot more than. Youd think! A few times I have changed him and thebbn pad was drenched but the diaper itself was dry! Saves me a little bit of laundry, anyway! So if you have a dipey-dog like Watson, you may want to buy some of these, especially if your pup's dipey leaks occasionally.
