I am really pleased with this daybed, I was surprised how nice it was considering the price. All the parts fit properly, it was easy to assemble (took a little over an hour for two of us, using one hand electric drill for the screws for the mattress slats), and assembly went very smoothly. The finish is nicer than I expected and I am just really pleased with this daybed. I recommend it as a really good buy. And in case anyone is interested, it is manufactured in Viet Nam and not China, so maybe thats why all the parts fit and everything worked exactly as promised! <G>
