We ordered this bed for our teenage son who is notoriously hard on furniture. He is a little over 6 feet tall/215 lbs and can best be described as a bull in a china shop. This bed is surprisingly sturdy. Assembly was easy but it is a two/person job. Note, the packaging is . It took two people to carry it upstairs. We are quite pleased with this purchase.
