I’ve loved this style bed for about a year now however it was too expensive. I compared prices from other retailers and was the most cost effective option. I pulled the trigger and purchased my dream bed. The black king was always sold out, but I was able to grab one after stalking it everyday for weeks.
After ordering the bed I was given the option to select a delivery time. March 25, 2022 6am-9am was the lucky day. I donated my old bed and cleared my bedroom in anticipation while sleeping on the sofa for a week waiting. I hired a handyman to assemble the bed, while I worked from home. I waited and waited all day on March 25, 2022 no bed. I called the customer service 800 number and was told to call the local office for accurate information. I called the local office looking delivery details on my bed and the phone would ring then hang up. I had to cancel the handyman which led to additional frustration.
I called the next day Saturday and the independent delivery company voicemail prompted they were closed on the weekend. Slept on the sofa until Monday and was told my precious almost 2k bed was lost in transit. But it was found later that day and I need to select another delivery date. Luckily they were able to deliver it Tuesday afternoon.
The boxes finally arrived in 3 huge boxes. *FYI* the headboard n footboards are massive. If you live in an apartment or condo with an elevator, the king is not going to fit. If you have sharp corners to your bedroom, it’ll be hard to fit. Instructions were vague however assembly wasn’t too complicated. Overall I’m satisfied with my purchase minus the delivery blunders.
