We have a guest room and we used to take out inflatable air mattress whenever my parent or friend slept over but I kind of felt bad because air mattress is not as comfortable, especially for elderly.
It came in a box with all metal pieces and I had to assembly the entire bed frame but it was easy and quick.
Once assembled, the frame was sturdy and nice!!! industrial looking.
I did notice that the width of the bed frame is shorter than the twin mattress so the mattress sticks out a bit but I believe this was intentional so that you dont bump into the metal frame with your shin.
Overall, Im very happy with this bed frame and its perfect for our guest room.
