The bed came in two heavy boxes. One had the headboard and hardware, the other had the rest of the bed parts. I also purchased the Zinus 12 Inch Gel/Infused Memory Foam Hybrid Mattress from to use with this bed and the result is aming.
We were able to put the mattress directly on the slats without a box spring. Overall, this is such a great bed for an aming price. If youre looking for a beautiful, sturdy and affordable bed, look no further!
