I was really disappointed that the height was much shorter than advertised (it is almost a foot short of being 51 inches tall...) I scrupulously measured our bedroom and wanted a headboard that would reach up to our window sill. The headboard we received with the frame is only about 42 inches tall... it may not seem like a big difference to many, but it was really disappointing to me. I didnt receive what I had purchased. If youre looking for something that is 42 inches, this bed is great. If youre looking for something that is 51 inches tall / this is not the bed frame for you. Takes about 2 hours to assemble.
