We bought this bunk bed for out daughters ages 2 and 4. We love i It is very sturdy and an inexpensive bed. It comes by UPS in 2 big boxes. It does take a while to put together and there is a lot of hardware to screw together. Instructions are easy to follow and there are a lot of reinforcements to make the bed more sturdy. The 2 year old is on the bottom bunk and it is a pretty tight space under there. I dont know if a larger child would find that comfortable.
