I really cant say, since I ordered the twin in espresso and received the full in white. What I received is very sturdy considering I am a mostly grown man. I am using an 8 full size memory foam mattress, and I get adequate sleep. It was very heavy and hard to move while boxed, and I will have to disassemble it if I need to move it. Assembly required a hammer and an electric drill, not provided.
