This adjustable bed platform works as advertised. We bought to go with a Sleep Number mattress. Although Sleep Number sells adjustable bases for their beds, the Queen size comes as one 80 x 60 piece and wont fit up our stairs. This platform is one piece as well, but comes folded into a roughly 60 x 40 package. I think it is reasonably priced. Its downside is that it is extreme heavy, and requires a couple of strong people to move and set up. Fortunately, the delivery man brought it inside for us and later we were able to get some help to get it up the stairs and setup. The assembly required is minimal - just screw in the legs provided. You should check for lose wires and such, and write down any serial number info on the bottom of the platform. The platform must then be turned over. The platform rests on plastic legs which support the bed fine, but must not be used to support the platform until it is completely horizontal and ready to be set on the floor i.e. the legs should not be subjected to shear force in the process of turning it over. All functions worked fine as soon as we plugged it in and put batteries in the remote. It works very well with our Sleep Number P5 mattress. It also fits inside of our existing sleigh bed frame.
Together with a good mattress the resulting bed is very comfortable, with no leg or hip pain, and it eliminates snoring and acid reflux issues when the snore setting (which raises the head portion of the mattress) is engaged.
