I wanted a recliner that had high firm arms; my mom has trouble getting out of the usual lower seat recliners. She's really enjoying it. I had noted when I bought it that it was a push-back style recliner, i.e. no handle. That mechanism is still a bit stiff, but I expect that will improve over time. The color was true to the image. It was easy enough to assemble by myself even though the instructions call for two people. It quite heavy. It would indeed take two people to move it upstairs. I think it's a fine chair at a fair price.
