I love to read but I have back problems that make it hard to find a good seat. So, I wanted a supportive yet comfortable non-rocking recliner that I didn’t have to wrestle to assemble or use. This is IT! Yes, it’s on the firm side but that means I don’t wind up with sciatic pain after sitting in it for hours. And it is definitely comfortable enough for me to do just that — it’s now my favorite chair in the house.
That said, I’m short (5’3) so it has plenty of head support for me. My 5’10 son needs a pillow behind his head when he sits in it, and he doesn’t like that. (Which is fine by me — it’s MY chair.) Will be buying a second one for my bedroom soon!
