Easy to assemble. It took about 1hr 45 minutes to complete from start to finish. The boxes had quite a bit of damage but everything inside was still in great condition. My kids absolutely love it! It's sturdy and can hold quite a bit of weight on the top bunk. I've laid with my son and so has his dad... it held 240lbs no problem.
