My husband and I weigh around 450 lbs combined, and no bed so far has cut it. Were pretty active in bed and it was putting a real damper on it. Wooden ones were a sick joke unless I spent way more than I wanted to. The basic metal frames you can buy at or big lots crumpled like tin foil. The other day, my husband came into the bedroom with the lights off and did not check to see how I was laying before he WWE slammed into bed for the night on top of me, bed didnt move, mattress didnt move on the bed frame, no squeaks, nothing. We bought it in August as a last resort to putting the mattress on the floor and I am so happy we did.
No squeaks or creaks yet....and very sturdy.
