I have a small studio, so I wanted a multifunctional desk. This desk looks much classier than I feared, although its still obviously composite wood if you look closely, and it also came with one corner chipped / I think this must be pretty common, because the desk came with a brown marker, apparently meant to cover any blemishes. Its surprisingly sturdy, including when you have the top lifted up / Ive used it as a computer desk, and the top stays up. I like the storage underneath the top, although since the top doesnt open all the way you have to kind of awkwardly reach to get anything / so its best for items you dont use very often. Note that even with the top lifted the desk is pretty low; I use it with a low armchair instead of a desk chair, and I think it would be awkward to use with a taller chair. So make sure to measure things out before buying it. That said, its a nice desk and Ive already received compliments on it because it looks classy.
