I admit, I like the challenge of assembling furniture and this one presented two challenges:
1. The instructions are picture based. Since it is picture based you have to really pay attention to see if you putting the parts together or you will have to unscrew and reassemble, it happened to me a couple of times, luckily this is almost all allen key assembly (they provide two sizes of allen keys and one mini screwdriver) The worst part was assembling the poles for the top piece (the desk) since the pictures were really unclear on where to put screw E which is this tiny bolt piece. It took some guess work but I was finally able to put it together. I think what was confusing was the screw that needed to go through the pole holes and into the bolt piece was tinier than the other screws I was using and I definitely needed a second pair of hands to steady the desk for that part.
2. The back part is going to look uneven its going to make you think you assembled it incorrectly, however dont panic, as long as the front is even, thats all that matters. Plus, one of the poles is meant to look lower than the other to allow the outlet wire to snake through it.
Overall, I love this desk. It has a handy outlet at the top to charge all my devices, the bottom shelf is perfect for storing my second monitor when I dont need it, and its lightweight so youre not straining to move the desk once its assembled. The price is pretty nice too, I initially saw a similar desk at a furniture store going for 350, so Im glad I found this one!
Trust the process
