Frame is great. Put it together on my own. Word of advise dont put it together as instructed. Leave one long side for last so that the slates fit perfectly and you wont have the issues other people have complained about the slates not fitting.
Im using a 8 in foam futon on it. If you do make sure you get a thicker one and have a foam topper too. The futon does move but i dont mind since my apt is poorly laid out for the outlets and has them in the middle of each wall so my frame cant even be up against the wall. I guess storage is fine. I dont have enough stuff that I need to put any under my bed. The one wooden crate I have did fit perfectly under it.
