We bought this for occasional touch up grooming of a small dog. It is very useful for that. It holds our 8 pound dog comfortably and securely and folds up neatly for storage. It is not overly complex to put together. It is reasonably sturdy, but I doubt it would hold up if used daily or if used with large animals. I would put it in the category of the folding card table we keep for occasional use when we have a group luncheon.
